The Warming Center Program, sponsored by the Sarah and Danny Straub Community Outreach Center and hosted by Loaves & Fishes Hospitality House opened for its first season in January 2025. Thanks to a core group of dedicated volunteers, many of the coldest days of winter 2025 saw our doors open for guests to warmly rest in the mornings from 7am, afternoons and evenings until 8pm. Working with the mayor's office to assure a place would be open with no need to open town hall rooms, Loaves & Fishes volunteers were pleased to be able to offer these days of Warming Center.
