How it Works
Each day after the main meal, our guests are offered a bagged lunch to take with them. Groups commit to one day a month to make enough bagged lunches for volunteers to hand out for that day. If you or your organization can prepare lunches in an approved kitchen and would like to participate in this much appreciated program, please refer to the calendar below for available days of the month, and contact us about your desired day.
Please, do not bring in lunches without a scheduled day, if we get too many at a time they may not all be given out in time.

Lunch Prep
For each lunch, write date on the lower third of the paper lunch bag.
Prepare a sandwich and put in a plastic sandwich bag. The preference is lunch meat and cheese rather than peanut butter or tuna salad as the sandwiches hold up better over the day. Condiments optional.
Add to the paper lunch bag a fruit (if it's a banana, keep them separate so they don't turn brown in the fridge), a sweet snack like cookies, brownie etc., a salty snack like chips or pretzels and the sandwich.
